The Strange And Gray House- Whose house is this? I think I know? This the strange and gray house Why does it tauntingly glow? Its owner is quite sad though. It really is a tale of woe, I watch him frown. I cry hello. He gives his house a shake, And sobs until the tears make. The only other sound's the break, Of distant waves and birds awake; Spiders and mouses, run in and out of; This the strange and gray house is; Spooky ooh wee looky; What's that over there; Did you see all that hair; The house glowing strange, gray deep; As he has promises to keep; Never then he shall not sleep; He lies in bed with ducts that weeps; He rises from his bitter bed; With thoughts of sadness in his head; He idolizes being not alive, dead; Facing the day with never ending dread; This the strange and gray house is

It seems like the house might be a metaphor for depression; no matter, it is a profoundly sad poem.
