The Story of One
One man, one woman, one kiss
One life, one chance
One lost love
One dead romance
One memory
We danced
We laughed
We loved
We drank from the chalice of hope
We were poisoned by our own sins
They are ghosts of another time
They are images of the sublime
They haunt you into the night
They sing to you, both hope and fear
They walk with you, till dark becomes light
And into the light you become one, with the dark
