The Stillness of the Night

I lay silently in the night
Wondering what is transpiring
on the other side; the consistent
Rambling of the traffic above me
Shakes the ceiling
and everything that lies within
The traffic kept rolling on
and my spirit sings a melodious song
And in the silence of the night
I raised my thought to the mountain in the sky
And the shooting stars came alive
 and destiny suddenly dies.
