The Start of Ascension
As I rise to the sky,
My eyes open wide.
As I fly,
The clouds ask, "How?"
The birds chirp, "Wow."
The stars say "Why?"
I do not reply.
The clouds began to cry.
The birds tell me to go high.
And the stars whisper to me the time.
To my surprise, they all began to harmonize.
Their song is beautiful and I then realize,
How long I've been delusional from all the lies.
So my pride begins to fade and my wicked ways began to die.
