Supergiant stars think they are so cool such big stuff
However, their end is near
They last but a short while
Proof (by the calculation M - 2.5 - 1010 where M = mass in sols)
Some as short as only a few thousands of years
Now variable stars are another matter
Nevertheless, that is a thought for another day
