The Star People
For we are the star people.
We hold our dreams aloft like little angels.
We sing songs in the wavy night.
Nothing of yours is a threat to me.
I am your brother's brother's brother,
The pupil in your eye.
For we are the star people.
We cry when we're bored.
(For the exercise.)
We take it like it comes.
We are earnest and spontaneous.
We are deep and light,
Crashing and cascading across the sky.
