The Spirit of Love

inspired by this video Our love will never disappear or wane We clung tightly to true passionate heart This spirit of love the world will retain After our kiss of tethered eyes depart Ashes cry out for each flame that love weeps When you departed this world filled with tears Your spirit is gone, your body now sleeps A still empty realm of darkness appears This cold lonely space where love never burns To warm the eyes with wondrous emotion I'll seek my own death without my concerns To consecrate all of my devotions As lovers passion fueled our love's pyre In death, I'll find you with my desire 7/14/17

You just unzipped the covers of my mind to the unprecedented worship of your adorable lines with a powerful choice of words that can't just be ignored. Showers of your wisdom is well palpated in this page and the only thing I can say is a big WELL DONE! Can't wait to have more of your mental command flowing through my reading mind.

A very lovely poem, Frederic. Also I watched the video (which you so nicely added so that we would not get thrown off the site by clicking on it) That guy in the video is so handsome, his EYES were OMG!!! Made my day.Even the woman had green eyes!! Gosh, I just got to the end. What an ending, and why did they ever say goodbye to each other in the first place??

Wow, Frederick this is stunning, kind of a Romeo and Juliet sensibility, so romantic ! Love the Gypsy Kings too!
