The Spirit of Christmas
Christmas is here, again
Again, at this time, I do fall into time
Time, time, time bringing forth memories
Memories of life gone by, memories so sweet
Sweet do be also the musings that the future does bring
Bring it positive happenings, bring it negativity, life is just life
Life does be made of death
Death does form part of the future as well
As well does be the future as getting closer to the truth
The truth of faith
Faith did bring the Christ to Earth
Earth does be a temporary stay, the real world does lie after
After death takes us over
Over and over the clouds we shall fly
We shall fly indeed to there where the Holy Books promises
Promises they did make, of meeting our maker, of being in the land of our Father
Our father, the only one who does know why we did fall on Earth
On Earth, at this time, all around the globe, Christmas is celebrated again
Again, I shall take the time to give my love to all
To all that do matter for me, I shall show gratefulness
Gratefulness for being with me, in my unique journey
My unique journey would indeed not mean anything if not for my loves ones
My loved ones, who do make me feel just as special
As special as the birth of our shepherd
Our shepherd who did give his very own life for all of us!
