"the Spiral"

Don’t let go, we’ll both fall
I want you to know, I’ll answer your call
And I always knew, you would answer mine
We are trapped in this downward spiral

We’re falling fast, but will catch each other before the end
We are escaping our past
We cannot see what’s around the bend
But here we are now, racing toward the unknown
We are living in this downward spiral

Hand in hand, we hit the bottom
We make our stand, amongst the leaves of autumn
They fall around us, and nourish our future
We are thriving in this upward spiral

Our eyes are locked, our hands are united
The crowd is shocked, but still delighted
As we are bound in marriage, at this elegant occasion
We are loving in this upward spiral

I enjoyed reading your poetry this morning Evan. I will not be reading poetry for a few days as I will be gone from Friday until Monday. I look forward to reading more of your poetry when I return. I wish you a weekend filled with good health, love, and loads of inspiration. Love and Blessings, Carol
