Notes About The Poem

Written after listening to  very boring lecture.

The Speaker

The Speaker

The speaker spoke and in words of choice
Spoke with a very commanding voice.
And as he warmed to his chosen theme
With greatest gusto outlined his scheme.
	 And as he continued passionately,
	 The audience nodding dreamily.
And when his speech in volume rose
His listeners fell into soft repose
Until, feeling the need to shout,
Found his audience had quite passed out.
