The Space Fills Up

Many people find it difficult to communicate, especially with loved ones. If time and effort isn't made, the gap between people can widen and seem an insurmountable obstacle.

                      the space fills up
                 (a bridge can be built)

                                  As
                          the silence
                      grows over time
                  and the space fills up
with nothing to say to each other
                  we need to stand still
                        and slow down
                          to touch base
                                again

                                   A
                              bridge
                          can be built
                    between our souls
if we are prepared to make every
                 effort to communicate
                         with love and
                           gentleness
                               as one
