The Sound Of Inner Peace

Like the hush of mobile crystals
stilling, inside a breezeless night
Like the echoes of distant stars
shimmying towards the moon

Its like tendrils of gray smoke
wafting through the temples
A silent Buddha contemplating
beneath the Bodhi tree of life

Inner peace can only be realized
through the senses and the chi
You can only hear its splendor
when your sitting on God's knee.

Dear Rose, Your thoughts are a serene hug, as if each line is a gentle breath. I loved the imagery you created for it invites such stillness and presence, a beautiful journey to inner peace and divine connection. A wonderful devotional! Winter Blessings, My Dear Friend, Daniel

Mystic oneness with God. We practice the Silence daily -- not easy to teach others as you are well aware. Shinning is the only way...as with your Light poetry. A lovely reminder. Thank you.
