The sound
Sometimes I cannot breathe a word
When I feel on top of the world,
Sometimes I cannot breathe a word
When I am walking with the crowd
When reality confronts me and the cares of
Life rest upon me and my muscles are torn
I have to continue to journey towards the shores
It was just the other day I saw you on the big stage
Running to and fro singing songs of joy that
Rocked the crowd, the moment you hit the stage
The people were crying out for more
And suddenly a mania captivate the entire town
And a mantra was dancing in the clouds
Sometimes I cannot breathe a word I just have to observe
Sometimes I cannot breathe a word;
I have to listen to destiny when it shouts.
The mornings are peaceful and the evenings are strong
But I am pressed to compose this new song
The rhythm cannot come out but the words are
Screaming out and the lyrics are free.
See them dancing in the street
They are happy and filled with glee
Something good has transpired on the other side
And they are celebrating with all their pride
The end is drawing near
and the grand jubilee is finally here
Sometimes I cannot breathe a word
When destiny is parading in the town
With the music over the beat rattles my eardrum.
I suddenly create a brand-new sound
And the words finally came out
