The Soul Is On Hiatus

Impromptu After Midnight Musings

Lost inside the mind
limbs drooped like
a weeping willow...
total relaxation.

The eyes, fixed
staring at
nothingness like
a child's doll
yet
blurred colors
on the
periphery.

The body appears
frozen,
paralyzed
no thoughts,
no considerations
Vacuous.

A still body of
vital organs
pulsating organs
hot blood raging
through veins
and capillaries.

It's as if the
soul's evacuated
on hiatus
to reconnect,
to coalesce
with pure energy
its power source.

Finding its truth...
its true purpose
in this
time
and
space
reality.

Re-fueled.
re-energized

A twitch
a blink
the eyeballs
shift.
