The Soul I Sold ---:2
If I seem down
forgive me
frowns I carry around
live in me
you may say,
ya' see right through me
your words untrue,
renew me
the hurt I’ve learned
brews in me
if only you could
re-design me
take time rewind,
refine me
recreate the mold, without lies I’ve told;
give back the soul I sold.
