The Soul I Sold ---:2

If I seem down
forgive me

frowns I carry around
live in me

you may say,
ya' see right through me

your words untrue,
renew me

the hurt I’ve learned
brews in me

if only you could
re-design me

take time rewind,
refine me

recreate the mold, without lies I’ve told;
give back the soul I sold.

This reminded me of some song from long ago. I can't remember its name now. It really is like music,& I can see it being shaped into a cool song! Off to the gym now, but I enjoyed being able to see this one on my way out! Oh, I just noticed you labeled it Lyric. I used to think that form meant lyics like to music, and in this case it truly would fit that description. It was not until just recently that I discovered lyric meant "showing one's emotions" you certainly did that too with this poem.
