The Sordid Affair

There's money___then there's love
Looking back at him __desiring
Brief encounters above
Husband's comments deriding

So handsome fire__home ice
Guilt, shame, remorse____desire
One last glimpse maybe twice
Marriage but children__can't transpire

Inner turmoil__wishing
Should I walk away now
Turn turn around running
We'll say the wedding's vow

i like this write Sara, i really do.one feels love for another, though they aren't his/hers.and yet, it's still love.this problem can have meanings that are so perplexed at times that mean more beyond the issue. you feel sorrow, is this wrong? the question they should ask themselves is what was this for?... awesome poem Sara.just great. -Always&Forever Lynette
