The Sonnet Man's Motto

Super heroes are expected to act,
Whenever a crime happens to take place,
And this is an undeniable fact,
Because it is their job to solve the case.
If you ever have anything taken,
I will not do anything about it,
And I will not respond to a break-in,
Even if I were to hear you shout it.
But, if I were to respond to a crime,
I would come and give your doorbell a ring,
Write a police report with perfect rhyme,
And tell you where to go buy some new things.
The Sonnet Man is the kind of hero
Who will stay far away from ground zero.
