The Sonnet Man Strikes
I do not fight crime, so please lock your doors,
Since I am unable to protect you
From those who steal from the rich and the poor,
And are extremely good at what they do.
Most criminals are not employed,
So this means that we all can sleep in late,
Since sleeping is something to be enjoyed,
And waking up early is what we hate.
I know my disguise is quite "hood" looking,
So please do not even bother to ask.
But, if I happened to be good looking,
Then, I would not bother to wear a mask.
Expect me to wear a tee-shirt and jeans,
Because costumes cost too much to dry clean.
