The Smile of My Child

Days can be quite hard
To keep the right heart throughout
When there’re so many trials
Consuming your hopes
Shaking your faith so
Making it hard to keep dreams
With fears ripping at your heart
But all doubts leave
The moment I see
The most special gift of all
The smile of my child.
