The Small Things In Life

Take a little of each moment
And cherish what we have
It could be here today and gone tomorrow
And we could be crying in the rain
Hoping things were like they were again
Take a second to be thankful
And think how blessed we are
Family, friends, the small joys of life
That we tend to forget, that come so freely
The small things, like love, a kiss, a hug
That lifts our spirit and make us soar
The kind words that make us smile
The friends we have made and the one's we lost
The triumphs and the failures
That made us grow along the way
It is the small things in life 
That we sometimes forget.
