The Sky Is Blue

The bright blue of the sky,
Almost forgotten
After winter's long reign,
Greets us this morning.

A touch of spring,
A promise, a hope.

The gentle breeze, welcome.
Stirring the leaves in gentle sway.
A beautiful morning to be enjoyed.

Winter begone
From our earth, from our soul.
We are ready for spring
In so many ways.

I'm ready too, although right now is the middle of the meteorological winter.

There have been some blue skies during the winter as well. Nevertheless, your writing is admirable.
