The Shows Over

A tale as old as time , wasted my time on a man whose heart will never be mine , another unrequited Love tale, never divine, I found myself living in a whirlwind between the lines of the truth and the lies, swirling around caught in there divide, colors had faded all turned to gray, I couldn't see clearly was living in a haze, one look at your face and I was amazed ,your eyebrows, your jaw, I was in awe, mesmerised , hypnotized was leading to a mental emotional demise, I've been hooked on you but I caught myself now I gotta stay on shore, of this I am sure, I am certain that I must close the curtain, close this book without another look, this is this stories end, the shows over

WOW! Jessica! I love the way you weave the different emotions into one thought. You are an exquisite poet with the potential of becoming one of the most sought after, most read poets on Soup.
