The Shoe

In the quiet of the night
In the shadows of a town
Strange noises came abound
Click clack, slithering around
The terror of imagination
was found

Left behind along the ground
Were slippery wet puddles
left in a small mound
This was evidence from the shoe
All were frighten, all mystified too
If to get a visit from “the shoe”
Children would wake to see its mark
They’d run out the door screaming stark

And if this shoe found your home
It grew a bloody leg from where it roamed
The it would
Reach up and call out your name
The end I’m leaving for you
If that’s all the same

(soupers keep in mind this was a dream, I'm not losing it! LOLOLOL!!)
