The Shepherd and His Sheepfold
He wants us to always trust Him,
He wants us to always be dependent on Him,
Our childlike trust doesn’t scare Him,
Our incessant calls don’t weary Him,
He is never tired of us,
He is never fed up with us,
We are His,
He wants us in His embrace,
Holding the sky in our daily pursuit,
Running on the fast lane in our daily quest,
The flight home is without much to call ours,
The day is gone on a sombre note.
