The Seed of Life, Breaking Out
I am a seed
Small but large
Holding in my hand the future
Of a journey yet unborn
Breaking out of my shell
This cage I've been locked in
IT has been far too long
I spread
As much as I can
As strong as I can
I cannot yet move, or see the sun
My roots,
They are still weak
Not able to break through this dirt
Through this thick hard soil
MY claustrophobic soul
Longs for the wide outdoors
The smell of the ocean
The scent of the garden's grass
The feeling of the water
Touching me gently, sliding down on me
The feeling of the Earth's land
Its dry sand, or moist soil
Day by day
I felt my growth deify
The rules of Isaac Neuton
Defeating all odds put against me
I stretch my veins
Here and there throughout the muddy ground
Sucking out all the water needed
To complete my heroic growth
Oh life! Oh splendid life!
Give me more of this sweet air
Give me more of this freshening breath
More of my dreams and expectations
Finally, the first sight
Upon a wide blue sky
Upon a wide green garden
Upon a dream long awaited, now coming true
