The Secret Life of a Mighty Bald Eagle
I would love to live a secret life of a bald eagle flying free.
No more weakness and captivity, just strength and sovereignty.
Soaring the skies so very high with strength and emancipation,
a paragon of freedom with power, persistent and mighty.
I’d be the greatest independent paradigm of divination.
People would be astounded by my talons of razor sharp,
the way they curve with force when I catch a river carp.
A predator to its prey to feed my fledging food to nourish,
ascending over the riverbank and above the rocky scarp.
With giant maple branches, my cozy nest I would furnish.
Yes, I would be proud to be a bald eagle, this is very true.
But in secret I would like to live, for humility I’d construe.
No one to know who I really am would be so exciting,
living as a private enigma gliding through skies of blue.
I would be rare and beautiful with a life so inviting.
The slavery human beings face is too much for my soul.
Too many limitations with servitude way out of control.
For I would love to live a secret life of a bald eagle, liberated,
no more emptiness and restriction, but completely whole.
I would be the greatest epitome of carte blanche ever created.
