The Secret

In that moment when two pairs of eyes interlock in silence
Begin to have a conversation with their lips not parting.
It is then that one pair of eyes asked a question in essence
While the other pair gave an answer without blaring.

The two friends, their bond of trust, a promise to conceal
Strength gathered in the silence they reveal
No sound escapes, no whisper dares to steal
The private language that their hearts can feel

In this still moment, free from prying ears
Their eyes, a window to the soul, reveal
They speak their minds, and hidden truths appear
The depths of trust, the secrets they can feel.

And when the moment passes, memories stay
Of silent conversations, truths to portray.
