The Search

The Search Introspectively, they live their lives Quiet and alone, with dreams to unearth The view from within has been agonized Yet, left undiscovered, is their own worth Mostly unnoticed, is a kindness that’s strong Reserved in their nature are thoughts of doubt An insecure notion may have led them wrong If one is ‘too’ close, the same is pushed out Yet, never give up on an introverts love Though, time may be needed for space and thought Their passions are strong, even more than enough If a comfort is found, your love will be sought So much of my love; was it lost, in fear? Or was it preserved, for you, all these years © 2017 Jeffrey Spencer
