The Seagull
The seagull
Stretched its wings
Flapping
Alofted
Head down
Legs shrunk
Flying high like a kite
Flying high like a great Cross
Suddenly
Plunging down
Became huge in size
Then gliding
Hovering above the sea
So free to fly in the blue sky
In the admirations of the clouds above
So proud to stay roaming around
In the admirations of the men below
Then suddenly
Plunging down into the water
And arose with a fish in its beak
So fast that no one could remember
To give it an applause
Before it flew away
