The Sea

The warm sand sifts between my toes The water sees what no-one knows Because I whisper to the waves Deep things that hurt from hidden caves When the waves do crash upon me I float with power of the sea I overcome hurdles to be Those are the rocks, I am the sea Heidi Sands *8 Syllables each line 12/4/16

This was beautiful and very deep thoughts that wash over me. I love the metaphors in this poem Heidi.
