The Scent of Nature that stirs me

Ah scents of Nature stirring up my sense,
Jasmines evoke from past my pleasant times,
Lavenders calm my mind with soothe fragrance,
Lemons stir enigma along with limes.
Some scents ease me, enliven, bring up lull
Or excite, some make me nigh vigilant,
Mints tend to whet my memories made dull,
Lo, there’s no smell that leaves me indifferent.

Of all, the most unique— the scent of rain,
O touches deep within— that smell of soil,
And if I put them all together, then
What I have ah the rarest of them all—
The scent of Nature that stirs me up sole,
O seeking your company soul to soul.
