The Saxophone

He played saxophone,
but preferred piano,
while both spoke jazzy notes,
it was piano that spoke to his soul
with whispers soft and spiritual,
or in a voice loud and bossy~
the notes once so entwined him
he floated above himself and flew.

Thank you. It’s a true story. My stepfather had an out of body experience while playing the piano.
