The Saviour

Now that he is your saviour
The President, the Governor, and the Cauncillor
Who would save your country from corruption and war
He is indeed president of the poor
Or governor of the poor
Or councilor of the poor
For he understands situation of the poor
Moreover, he is once poor

Now that you have voted for him and won
And within your mind he is the only one
That could set your country free from evil deeds
Forget God is the only good
No wonder He gives man no rest
For HE alone is the final rest
Knowing they rest mind and seek peace
From creature like them and neglect Him, the true peace

Now this is his second seat
Remonstrating, no good has come, but discomfort
Know that
Man does his best
And leaves the rest
He alone is able to do all we want
Why not look up to Him and pray
YOU are the SAVIOUR, shout, and say

Many times we put our trust in other human beings...but then we tend to forget that there is ONE who is much more capable and reliable!! ~ Regards // paul

Amen my friend. Well said. Man does what he can but Jesus is the only way to Salvation. The Bible tells us that if ANY man says he is the way out and to pray to him instead of Jesus we are to run not walk in the other direction as fast as we can. Politics is evil. Politicians are liars. That's what they do for a living. Great stuff her. God Bless, JB

Much wisdom in this one, Afolabi. And who is this man that is governor, president AND chancellor?
