The Saddest Dog
The saddest dog is the dog who is ignored
The saddest dog is the dog who is bored
No attention no affection
for that big heart of love
Chained away in a yard to stay
starving to run to play for fun
But left alone for no one
Afraid at night yearns by the windows light
the people within have forgotten him
Lonely is that big heart of love
A dog is a part of your family
she is loyal and true
a friend forever to
A guard an alarm
he will protect you from harm
And all they ask for pay
is someone to love and play
A dog makes a house a home
A dog keeps you from being alone
A dog loves you unconditionally
A dog's love is always free
The saddest dog lives but is dead inside
The saddest dog is the one you deny
All they want is to be by your side
People need people
Dogs need us to
That puppy your heart can't be deny
when grown that puppy still lives inside
