The Sad State of the Union, November 2024

The country's in a mess today,
And things are getting worse, not better.
Our leadership has lost its grip
And has given common sense the slip,
When the White House will again have as resident
An egocentric president
Who makes his lack of judgment evident
By spending too little time
Addressing healthcare and crime
And spending far too much time
Being bratty on Twitter.

Author's note: There are three subjects I don't usually like to discuss or write about...sex, religion, and politics...but sometimes you just gotta say something.

It is almost beyond belief that such an election result could occur in the U.S.A., especially since his character, lack of ability, and mental and physical shortcomings are so blatantly apparent.
