The Round House-A Meditation

Through garden gate with sunlit morn
The dew evaporates from soft emerald lawn;
Rhododendrons flowering pink on leaves of hale

And children collecting water for the pale,
With urns gentle flow of waters touching pond;
Oak, Maple and Ash adorned with beautiful frond.

The Round House with pyramid chimes,
Innate peace and tranquility at their behest
With echoes mysterious from Ancient of Times

Bring soothe, calming and soulful rest
And so peace descends, thoughts subdued
As space takes to the air, and there

The Holy Spirit transcends, minds imbued
And dreams to share as memories flare
Up through canopy fare with candles aglow

That cause to stare through flame yet to douse.
And so to fly, to dance, to wing as Swallow,
Then gently to Earth and chimes of the Round House.

Hi Darlene Thank you and that's exactly what I intended the poem to do; take you on a journey through the garden and the Roundhouse itself, where I went for meditation.
