The robin must be haappy With its persistent tug Of a jump rope worm, Squirming In a rubbery chagrin. The robin must be happy With paint brush sun rays Shining shimmers on his chest, Smiling warm upon his nest. The robin must be happy I hear it in his song, The sweetest sun serenade And I am overjoyed.

Hi Raven, I just read your blue jay poem and was glad to find another bird write. Your poems are so complimented by your photos. You have motivated me to try to post my poems with pictures. I use to teach my children a poem called, 5 Little Robins in a Sycamore Tree. This poem brought back that nice memory. Your last four lines are my favorite. Tweet. :0)
