The Road To Happiness
The never ending interstate
The road we all must drive
Endless wandering is our fate
For the end goal we strive
On the road is where we all thrive
This soothing little ride
We are born and in we all dive
The best part is we tried
The end is nowhere in my sight
The boundless curves and hills
In the never-ending moonlight
On a road filled with thrills
Misguidance is what really kills
I never found a guide
Spinning out here gives me the chills
The best part is we tried
Some go sixty in the twenty five
They find the end too soon
Happiness only comes to those alive
Those singing cheerful tunes
But some must just be immune
Always happy but they all lied
Learned I lost the road on a full moon
The best part is we tried
Very tempting parking spaces
Trap us until we've died
Never got to meet life's grace
The best part is we tried
