The Rib of My Joy

It is said that the universe runs on laws that are far above us
That to reach these laws would be to understand
Reaching for something as solid as light
I have touched this ray of hope
It has lifted me to the heavens and I almost understand
I have come to know the completion of the law
The reason for life, joy, fullness
But now I wish I knew not
I know nothing. I know to much
How horrible it is to be void
It is wonderful and full of hardship
I have experienced the rising of my soul and its fall
I have lived
Never can I rid myself of this
For to do so I would have to die
I choose to be in pain
And have only its memory
As proof of devinity

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your wisdom through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
