The Resurrection (Gothika: the Musical)

Everything is gone
The shadows have taken on
Why cant they see, the family
Running through the earth
Went from wonder to dust
Who do we have, that we can trust
This will not happen again
The time has come, to rise and fight for our land
Rise. I beg you to rise.
Let the sun shine upon you,
Let the water run through your blood
I order you to, Rise.
Rise just once more
Live again. Walk again. Breath again. Fight again.
Rise.
[HORALIUS]
The sky people see
Only what they want to see
They think our spirits are dead.
We’ll make them fall,
For once and for all
We’re going over their head.
[CRITTERS]
Flying through the air.
Swimming under the water.
They wont know we are there.
We are the sons and daughters,
Of Mother Earth
Father Sky
Sister Water
Brother Life,
This land is ours
And we will fight
Those who killed our land
With all our power we will smite
[ALL]
Rise again.
Live once more.
Prepare for battle.
This is not the end of war.
Rise. Live. Breathe. Fly.
Make them suffer
Make them taste the sky.
[ALL In Harmony]
Rise. Rise. Live again.
Rise. Rise. For them, this is the end.
When you leave, look to the trees
Think of your family, think of those in need
We all are alive, we will survive,
This is the calling, this is the way,
Look to the sky, think of the reasons why,
Look to the earth, giving you birth
The sky is our father, the earth is our mother
We are the chosen few, to give to all anew
Life will find a way, to get through everyday
Swim through the water, and fly through the sky
Join the earth in battle…and…rise.
