The Rest of Her Life

Each day was the best day for the rest of her life. Having conquered the darkness, she was master of her own destiny which now could be the positive conjuring of will. The long desired, unspeakable joy was becoming a reality. When the way grew troublesome she did not care, reminding herself that fate had dealt a hand of variance completely and uniquely distinct from any known previously. Caution often caught her thoughts, suggesting a twisted outcome of irony. 6/30/18 Eight lines of fate, when you wonder if it is too late Poetry Contest Sponsored by Silent One
