The Rest Notes
consider bees
bees with stingers,
humming, swarms of bees
resound their presence
inviting hysteria
among the bees
are butterflies
who play out their lives
absorbed in silence
performing musical bliss
moving from task to task
without making a sound
inspiring peace
bees and butterflies
both get the song sung
but butterflies are
the rest notes
on my garden staff
