The Relevance of Time

Passes quickly - doesn't it?
It's a wind that blows fiercely for
     a brief time
     then dies down
Little time to change
    course
Little time to overcome
   wounds we have suffered from
We need the healing touch
     of cool rain
Then, refreshed , we can
continue on our own journey
   If the clock only
spins in one dimension
   Then where can we
place blame?
   Let's take heart
in the pulse of the city
We can learn from
  the movements
of the broad masses
   of people
   Yes, there is still
hatred, and war
But while the breath is in us
   We can move
with the rhythms of
    humanity
With a bright and
fierce determination
We will let the angry winds of despair
    pass us by

Love your poetry, your undying hope and faith in humanity. Beautiful your poetry, and your philosophies. All with a touch of magic make for an always enjoyable and most excellent read. Love, Shar
