The Refuge Camp

Faces without hope,
as same promises repeated.
The crowd begins to murmur,
and the rains commence to fall.

Thoughts of home encroaching,
do they struggle, to push them back.?
Those memories of terror,
and murderous attacks.

Month's have passed,how many more ?
 hearts yearning to go home.
  The war continues,in their land,
on and on and on.

They had to save their children,
no mercy from the foe.
There's no regard for any life,
  death for one and all.

Dwelling in this makeshift camp,
 they know their safer here,
Oh the yearning ,yearning,
for homeland they hold dear.
