The Red Tint

why do i want something to say?
i have enough other thoughts
to fritter away.
does not this day deserve
the moment of peace
i've caught?
somewhere beneath the breeze
it reserves my bloody end
for me,
one hopeful hint
before the red tint
is all i see.
