The Red Sun

The Red Sun rises, The birds still sing, The clouds keep rolling across the sky… My heart is torn by what I cannot understand! Where is my respite? My place of solitude…and healing? Your mercy is wondrous and severe, O Lord, I cannot escape it… I cannot bear the love with which it is given… Rescue me from doubt, Set my thoughts on You alone, Deliver me from my discontent… It was by grace alone I was granted this day, Let my knees touch the earth And with humility draw near… I surrender all! I surrender all! I surrender all!
