The Real Deal Not Heel

As the drop of saline slowly rolls The ragged_ irregular exposed As the mighty river flows from holes My heart_ spring flood; since of me disposed A flood so strong that the levee is broken A bridge is carried away rushing to the sea Left dry bed of pebbles_ token Heart given with love not lessee Lacrimal gland overworked dear Red swollen eyes_no great surprise Constantly shedding a warm pointed tear Now my heart totally revise The tear in my heart slowly heals No more will I deal with such a heel On that broken levee are seals New love happens to be real deal

Yes, do not have to deal with the heel any longer. Reminds me of "gonna wash that man right out of my life, and send him on his way!" (except the eyes are getting the washing!) Luv, Andrea

The tears come most often when new love proves fleeting. I love the way you describe the healing process in your last verse, Sara. Amazing emotion behind this poem! Love, Carolyn

Very interesting way of taking on the challenge, Sara-- I liked how you related both definitions of tears-- as for my Grounded poem, yes it can be interpreted by the reader as it seems fit-- I guess that was brought about by how going barefoot (or the simplest things) can make us fell connected to life and God once more... just me tossing thoughts-- how I hope your concerns can be addressed by your urologist--if not, isn't there maybe some alternative solution?

I used: Tear-a pointed spherical saline drop that comes from the eye... Tear- to ripe apart forcefully. Sara
