The Ray
The ray
Enlightens my day
Only one flash
From the thirty-two stash
Sends my mind astray
If I were to take it upon myself
To grant the world the wealth
Of seeing the ray as I see it
Making the ray shine as i see fit
Would always see me in good health
I love the ray so much
But it is not the only feature I wish to touch
But it is the aspect that fills me with glee
So much so the blind can still see
it and know that I would love her in my clutch
My mind cannot stop thinking
About the owner of the ray without sinking
Into sorrow
I want her to be mine but it will not be tomorrow
It will be in the future, fingers crossed and winking
I have fallen so deeply in love
And I pray for a blessing from above
For I have fallen for the girl with the ray
And I wish to spend each and every day
Drowning in her love
