The Raven

The Raven Black pigmented ink Circle my frame Charcoal My melanin Fierce as the raven Perched upon a housetop In its black attire Regal and justified Jet as ebony, Timber from a tropical tree Molasses is my honey I knead with the night And scare the limited of mind More precious than the Tahitian pearl A lantern at midnight My soil shall keep my garden Fruitful and multiplied Marckincia Jean Free verse 08/21/19
