The Rapids Ii
She stood at the gate; her hand at her throat;
She’d been praying since early morn.
They were long overdue; no sign of their boat;

Then above the clouds, a rainbow formed.
She laughed with tears of joy and tears of love.
She laughed for God’s great promise from above.
